Dataset Description	This dataset contains variables from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) Reanalysis v5 (ERA5; Hersbach et al., 2020). These data were used for the analysis in “The impact of large-scale land surface conditions on the South American low-level jet” published in Geophysical Research Letters.
