Water surface superelevation data in the bends of the Mississippi and Wabash Rivers

This dataset includes information for plotting lateral water surface profiles across a series of bends at three study sites: two (MISS1 and MISS2) on the Mississippi River and one (WAB1) on the Wabash River. Each excel file 'MISS1', 'MISS2', and 'WAB1' contains four worksheets- 'curvature' contains data on curvature along the streamwise distance, and '800 m', '400 m', and '200 m' sheets include water surface elevation (WSE) data averaged over 800 m, 400 m and 200 m segments, respectively. The later three sheets also include information on lateral water surface slope, curvature and velocity at different cross-sections.
