Data from North American Crayfish: A Quest for the Biggest Catch

This dataset compiles records of 60 of the largest documented crayfish specimens from multiple institutional collections across North America. It includes standardized measurements of body size (carapace length in millimeters), collection year, and generalized geographic locality, along with institutional identifiers and catalog numbers that enable traceability to physical specimens. By aggregating extreme size records across taxa and regions, the dataset is designed to support analyses of maximum body size limits, geographic patterns in size distribution, and historical collection trends.
